That looks nice, but I am unclear to the legality or appropriateness of using a design that GMMG created from scratch.

I'd assume that as long as it doesn't have names or badges associated with GMMG that it would be fine. I mean look how many people have made there cars similar if not close to identical to 4th gens like Tom Henry and Berger. Nor would the car have the same fenders/rims/badges, ect. BUT you get an idea of how white w/ orange stripes will look on a 4th gen and regardless its not always good to be a copy-cat

I seriously doubt that. You could almost certainly paint any car to look just like any other; I cannot fathom an applicable civil "law" that would be prohibitive. Copyright? Nope. Trade Mark? Maybe, but doubtful. Did they apply for and receive a trademark for a modified Chevy Camaro body style and paintjob? I don't know but I'd wager against it. I also seriously doubt they could somehow trademark DH's name, especially in relation to a Chevy Camaro paint scheme.

Also note that the car won't be a widebody and, hell, the hood will be made by VFN (who obviously didn't have any trouble copying the design to make money even), so right off the bat what you suggested can't be true.

Not that I'm a lawyer or anything.
