engine bay cleaning ?

i drive my car a bit in the winter and its not uncomon to have a bit of salt under the hood and some dirt as well what is the best way to clean off the engine may is there a spray or soap mix or somethign that i can use to help clean up my engine bay?

i would suggest dishsoap/water mix and a soft bristle brush, that is what i use, doesn't discolor metals or plastics and rinse with hose, but have a good nozzle that can make some pressure

get some degreaser let it soak a little then scrub and rinse, cover up the electronics

black magic makes a spray that breaks up everything and it wont hurt anything....good stuff

This **** works awesome. Breaks down all the grease and stuff. Also leaves a decent shine as well. Just spray it on and let it sit for 15 min. and then spray it off with water.
