How do you clean foam PC pads?
Thanks.
First step .. make sure the pad is totally dry .. it will clean up much better if the product on the pad is totally dry.
Use a small amount of Murphy's Oil Soap (BEST THING i HAVE FOUND FOR CLEANING A PAD), almost the size of a quarter .. standing at the sink, I work the soap into the pad under running warm water, and continue until the pad is clean, and all the soap is rinsed off ..
I wring them out, then blot them dry with paper towels (Scott shop towels actually, since they are very low lint)
I then go outside, and put them on the rotary, and spin them for a few seconds @ 100 rpm, while holding them down in a 5 gallon bucket to keep the sling from hitting anything else ..
they then go back in the house to totally air dry, then they go into Ziploc bags, and back out to the garage and the cabinet until I need them again ..

These work. Put the pads in the bag and throw them in the washer on the delicate setting. When it's done, I take them out of the bag and set them out to air dry, then put them in plastic bags for storage. The laundry bag helps keep them from getting caught on the agitator and tearing them to shreds.
