Default Car Keyed

So last night my car was keyed up and down both sides, through the clear, and the paint, to the bare metal. There are flakes of metal actually coming out, so the car will have to be completely stripped in these places and sanded down. The car will need to be entirely repainted to match with the metallic color. I feel sick.

So....I like in Nebraska, but I am looking for some of the best paint shops within a decent driving distance. I do not trust paint shops in my city for sure with quality. Let me know any opinions on the matter.

/Off to go hunt down the culprit.

I guess to the top as far as paint shop. Thanks for the tip black97ss.

This probably sounds stupid, but I'm pretty much willing to pay what the insurance doesn't to get it done right / by the best. I can't stand the thought of my car looking like **** / being done half assed.

hey man, sorry to hear that...nutless people

a kid i knew got his front bumper, hood, back bumper and some other little things done at Tracy's...and i was very surprised by the quality of the work. the paint matched very well (but, it was black), but the finished looked very good.

but, i too, would be skeptical about getting it painted.

just thought you might want to check them out...GOOD LUCK!

Insurance will cover only initial estimate of 1300 to have 2 panels repainted per side and the other buffed out. And to think I have been paying exorbitant insurance coverage for 3 yrs to have a shady coverage.

I'll try to get some pics when the weather gets a little better.

And to the person who said they were nutless....they may find themselves that way when I'm done with them.

I'm really hoping the police aren't lazy and actually watch the video tape. I mean they did spend thousands and thousands of dollars on security, why not use it. I know a good donut shop across the street, I'm thinking about taking him in some next time he works.

That's sucks.. I would beat some ***.
That's why I leave mine as it is, I need a paint job bad, but it's been hit and run a few times too many to get a nice one. It takes away from the Theft factor.. That and no one will think it's got a 402 in it with the way it looks..

I sincerely hope I never see someone trying to key my car and mess with it coz he will be sorry just to think about it.
