Default Billet Grille

i just got a fix it ticket for having no license plate on the front of my car because i have a billet grille anyway to have both on? or have to choose 1 or the other?

just zip tie one on and get the ticket takin care of then take it off....

I don't know about CA, but in TX you can put the front license plate in your windshield. at least you can see it from the front

That's not true buddy, here in TX it really just depends if the cop/sheriff/trooper wants to give you a warning/ticket.

That is correct. The law states the plate must be on the front most part of the vehicle. Yes they do let you "get by" with it on the dash sometimes. I haven't had one on for 3 years. Just been lucky. I would zip tie the plate to the grill and get the ticket dismissed and then remove it. I carry the front plate and the old plastic bracket with me to plead my case if necessary. That would probably work once

I re-read the license plate law. It states that it must be displayed toward the front of the vehicle in Tx. Doesn't specify location, which was news to me.
