Ok well I painted my tailights and I painted all my turn signals and got the blackness where I wanted it and I went ahead and sprayed the clear on it....
The clear is like all white....its not transparent at all!! Im using acrylic enamel...is this what Im supposed to use or no?? Ive let it dry for like 10 hours now and a little of the white went away but its all blotchy now!!
How can I get rid of this??? Do I need to strip all the paint off?? If so what do I need to use?
I havent cleared the tails yet cause they are PERFECT!!! And dont want to mess them up like the turn signals did.
THANKS!!!!

Well it really depends on how you put it on, did you spray it on thick and fast coats or did you spary thin coats and let them sit for about 10-15 minutes then spray another coat building them slowly.

you shouldnt have to repaint the VHT, just the clear if it doesnt get any better, just wetsand it down and if it doesnt get better wet sand it some more, wipe it off and spray thin coats of clear.

well its weird....I took the turn signals and wiped them on my shirt and the white stuff came off slowly....the longer I did it the more it came off....hmmmm
How should I clear the taillights? Maybe I should just get them professional cleared....

i put some nightshade on my GFs benz, 2 yrs ago with no clear, to this day it looks like i did it yesterday.
although it does have a few coats of Zaino on it![Happy](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_stretch.gif)
just another option to think about, but i did finish it off with one heavy coat for a glossy finish

you should be able to sand it off. i've had some problems with my center brake light with doing stuff like that. the good news is, with some sanding, it will come off and you can do it again. maybe you should get a different type of clear coat. the bad news is, you're probably going to wear out your arm in the process.
