What would be the best way to remove gum from cloth interior?

WD40 is going to stain a cloth seat.

I use a carpet cleaner to soften the gum, and then a bristle brush.

In my case I use a Dewalt drill, with a few different bristle brushes varying in hardness.
The softest of the bunch is what I usually use.

Cool

Try it w/ice cube first.
If it doesn't do the job Goof Off will.

Goof Off quickly and easily removes hundreds of things from sticker residue and chewing gum to oil grease asphalt tar and scuff marks. The Original Goof Off is used by more painting contractors to remove dried latex paint than any other brand. Goof Off quickly and easily removes dried latex paint splatters drips and overspray from furniture hardwood floors finished cabinets paneling windows woodwork carpeting linoleum tile formica vinyl floors many fabrics brick metal fiberglass concrete stucco and more. Unlike strippers Goof Off selectively removes latex paint and not oil-based paints. Goof Off is also excellent for cleaning spray equipment removing paint and tar from automobiles and cleaning tools determining whether existing surface paint is latex or oil based and removing paint from clothes. Goof Off is also excellent for cleaning greasy or grimy surfaces prior to painting.

That sucks. How did you get gum on your seats?
I know that you can use eather peanut butter or mayo to get it out of hair.

Hay who was that other person that was interested in your car that got the car loan?

I would try an ice cube it hardens the gum so you can just pick it off!

but that kind of depends on how embedded it is in the fabric!
