Default AC Delete

I made a nice block off Panel for the AC while keeping the Heat. I can make Templates or get measurements if anyone needs one..

It's looks good bro.. I had to use my old one to make this new one, all the holes were lined up and everything was good. I used 1/16" Aluminum Plate, and sanded it with 100g so the paint would stick.

Well, sounds like you did a batter job then me.. I just got my grinder and cut the **** off at the firewall.

But, you will need to seal it up along the sides and also where the 2 heater hoses are. If not, all your air will blow out thru the firewall...

I just zip screwed it on, then just used some silicone to seal the edges.
Where the heater hose's are is where it gets tricky and take awhile. There is going to be some huge gaps so you might have to put a little on, let it dry, then keep adding more till its filled in. You put alot on at one time and it just falls behind or in front if it.

I still have the Factory stuff in side of it, so I have something to work with. I just have to fill in all the Gaps. I don't need the little Vacuum line, so that helps.

That vacum line is what controls the vent direction from I understand.. when you switch from the floor to the dash, it runs off vacum from my understanding.. So, you might want to hook that back up. I just routed mine to come out where the heater hose's are.

that rubber nobby thing on the left, I just cut that flat. It looks exactly like mine when I had mine tore up..

Mine is stuck in default mode, been like it since I had the Car. It's Heat to the floor and Defrost, that is all it's ever had. I am not complaining, that is all I need.
It's one less thing to come off of the Engine, the Intake I have doesn't have provisions for that.

I didn't know that you could take that black box out, because i thought it had to do with heatercore. That sucks becuase i just got my new motor back in the car, and i don't want to mess with removing all that crap back there when the motor is in. Looks great, you should start selling them things.
