Thinking of buying a Wings West grill insert and painting it body color. Anyone know if they are quality parts. Is the fit and finish decent? Thanks in advance for the info.

I've got the Wings West grill & I'm very happy with it. The fit is perfect, but I would recommend buying it unpainted & having it painted at a body shop that you trust. I bought mine painted & it chipped very badly in no time, when nothing else on the front of the car did. Once I took it off & had it repainted, I haven't gotten even one chip since. One thing to know is that the silver mesh in the openings is only held in place by the pressure of being a close fit. I haven't had a problem with mine, but a buddy I know has problems with his popping out every now & then & he has to up them back in, so make sure yours fit nice & fit before installing the grill on the car.

I ALSO HAVE THE GRILL AND LIKE IT. AS FAR AS THE MESH GRILLS I JUST USE A POLY URATHANE TYPE GLUE AND IT HOLDS LIKE A CHAMP.

I also have this grill and I love it. However, the grill mesh leaves a lot to be desired... After painting my grill, I had it protected with a strip of Xpel.
