Man that sucks. I hate seeing things like that happen to good people. It's sad that nowadays you can't have nice things without worrying about them being damaged/stolen by fucktards that are too stupid/worthless to ever be successful enough to have nice things of their own.
That really does suck man, makes me so thankful I'm a college kid with a house and garage! My neighborhood isn't bad at all, but its no million dollar home place either. Just because its your daily doesn't mean you can't cover it, and if you're buyin Benz's and Vettes you should move somewhere with zero vandlism.
This is what I would do: I would take pics of the damage, make a ****-load of flyers and post them all over the neighborhood offering a reward (as much as it's worth to you) for info on who did it. I guarantee one of the little ***-wipes in question would roll over on his cohorts for cash. Then, once you know who did it, you can do whatever will satisfy you. Personally, I've got a can of aerosol Aircraft Paint Stripper available for just such occassions. I've always been an eye for an eye kinda guy. 
i just moved from Plano last year, i had a 99 C5 and the damn kids always egged my car (every car on the block) it was always in May right before they get out of school, i ended up selling the car and moving closer to work
Probably some punk *** kids, Kids are getting way worse these days, We have some punks that live in our subdivision, They are like 12 and think they are hard talking back to other parents in the neighborhood, I told my dad If they start trouble in our yard I am going to take my belt off and beat the **** out of them cause that is what they need, Good luck man on getting it fixed

I hate that sh*t....kids in my neighborhood do that **** but I know who they are and they never think about touching my stuff....I still have to be careful though. In my old neighborhood one time I got a egg tossed at my T/A and it made the paint start to come off. Right on the side pillar....I was livid, still kinda am. Good luck with insurance and all bro.

I hate to see that. Work to have something nice then one day somebody sneaks around to mess it up and thinks it's funny. That aint worth a damn. I hope there's no hassle from the insurance company in getting your 'vette right again.
