Cleaning Plastic I'm having a problem cleaning some of the exterior plastic. like the colored plastic that has a pebble finish to it. a bit of wax gets on this stuff and it doesn't want to come off with just washing or using plastic cleaner,, which by the way works excellant on head and tail lights!!
Try some goo gone or Mother's back to black. Also, I've heard peanut butter removes it easily. I haven't tried that, but I've heard it being done on more than one occasion.
I understand it COULD work because of the oil in it moisturizing the old dry plastic. But how do you use it? Do I just go out and smear a wad of PB on my black plastic pieces then wipe off?
