what is this???

ok right behind the two bucket seats in back is a hump (like by your head) and then it goes down into the trunk. what is inside there?? i figure the fuel tank and then iono what else

youre right, thats where the fuel tank is. search the threads for the "trap door mod" and you can see where a lot of guys cut a hole there to change the fuel pump a lot faster than the drop the axle and tank method. saves a lot of time.
