removing overspray from chrome
the best ive come a accross is steel wool, your prolly thinking.. what is he talking about that will scratch the dshit out of my rims, but when dust, overspray or whatever gets on your rims try steel wool with some glass cleaner and i guarantee youll thank me later
If they are chrome and NOT polished or polished/clearcoated aluminum - then you could use either laquer thinner or steel wool as mentioned above. Make sure to use either Super Fine #0000 or Extra Fine #000 grade ONLY.
You could use the steel wool in conjunction with the laquer thinner to remove it even more easily.
NEVER use any type of thinner or steel wool on polished aluminum or poilshed/clearcoated aluminum - you'll dull the finish and scratch the hell out of them.
Factory WS6 wheels are polished/clearcoated aluminum BTW.
Bet you'll mask the wheels off, or remove them next time you paint in their vicinity!

I did the same thing, I took my wheels of to paint my calipers and had the wheels maybe 5 feet away and got over spray on them from the wind... I used mothers wheel polish and it took most of it out. I am going to try the steel wool to finish it off
