Camaros & Firebirds both look much cleaner with the molding removed. I did mine last fall, but it was hot out and peeled right off. Just rubbed the glue off with my finger, hit it with claybar & polish and I was done.

Someone makes a drill attachment that looks like a rubber wheel used to remove adhesive from auto body's. You're making me think about doing it.

You have to be careful when you use that rubber wheel. It removes the adhesive but also might scuff the paint a bit. The Porter Cable and some light compound remove the scuffs pretty quick. Just a heads up that that might happen. I used the wheel on the crew cab and that was my experience.
