how much to convert to a vert?
how much to convert to a vert? i have a t-top camaro and i'm starting to get those lovely bubbles coming in the side pillar and the top too. how much do you think it would be to turn it into a convertible? i'ver heard $1k to 2k to replace the top so i dunno if i wanna do that especially since it could happen again. thanks!

Re: how much to convert to a vert? not an easy job turning your t-top into a vert. It's not just replacing the top section. It would run more than 2 grand. We did this to our 3rd gen Camaro several years ago. Convertible parts are about 3-4 times more expensive than other parts. In our 3rd gen, we had to cut the wheel wells to make them flat (the top sits in that area). I'd say replace the original top.
