Any interest in etching? Specialized Stainless *PICS* I know for a fact that I will be offering etching as an option when you order products from specializedstainless.com What I want to know, is there a large enough demand for it because if there is, I will offer it sooner than later.
The example below is one way of doing it. This is where the lettering / design will stand out more (the lettering / design is polished, the surrounding material is etched).
The other way of doing it is the opposite of what's shown below. This way will let the lettering / design not stand out as much (the lettering / design is etched and the surrounding material is polished). Personally, I think this way would look better but I only have a photoshop picture of it.
I will offer a couple of etching designs for a set price and then offer custom etching for a quote by case basis.
So how many of you would be interested in this and what would you like etched? Here's a link to my store so you can see the products we offer as of now: store.specializedstainless.com

If I ordered a Battery cover, woudl it be possible to get a chevy symbol on top and the word Camaro below it? I have the fuse boxes in the chrome, so i woudl need the cover in chrome with the etching in something else?

Verdad Gallardo I think it would be awesome if we could pick and choose from among the standard graphics. In my case, I would like to see the “Trans Am” word, the bird, and maybe “WS6”. My specific order would depend on pricing and logo/graphics placement options.

I'm going to take the most common designs people would be interested in and use those for the standard selection.

Looks great! And I think both ways look good, but without a doubt I personally like the actual letters/design being etched and leaving the surface a nice shiny polished look like you've done in the second example.
