drying conundrum
drying conundrum well with my stock hood whenever i washed the car the hood would get streaks on it from drying it the rest of the car is fine. i am using clean beach towels or body towels whatever they are, well now that i have a newly painted hood should i continue using them or get the big *** microfibers.
oh and also, theres no wax on the hood because they said to wait 2 months. so the water wont bead off

Use the MF towel. Most of them have better knapes then beach/body towels that you're refering too (even if they're MF based towels) so they're better for car finishes.
And I'd ask your painter what he recommends as far as upkeep for the specified time as the stuff is curing.
