Default After market hoods

The hood that I have on my 94 Camaro is currently aftermarket, but made to look stock. The person that I bought it from was involved in a little fender bender and the hood needed to be replaced, but no damage was done to the engine, just front bumper and hood. The hood also does not line up like the factory ones do, or even some of the after market hoods. I was thinking about buying a SS hood or possibly the ram air hood, but I dont know how it would look on my car. I'm leaning towards the SS hood though, but as I said above though, not all the aftermarket hoods line up properly. I was wondering if someone bought a hood from a certain after market manufacturer and what the quality of their hoods were. If you could also include pictures it would definately be appreciated so I could see how they line up. Thanks!

Honestly man, the SS hoods look even better on LT1's than LS1's. I've seen em 1st hand. Do it. Also, a great thing on LT1 Camaro's are the clear (not smoked) headlight covers.

I went with the ss hood on my camaro and love it. Lt1's look mean with them. As for the alignment issue, i had to mess with the fenders a bit but everything came out looking fine. If you don't want to do it yourself the bodyshop should have no problem doing that. I assume you're going to have the ss hood painted by the shop anyways.

any good after market suppliers though? I'm looking to spend about $450 to $500 on the hood. Where would I also find one? I've checked ebay and some other places such as RKSport but I was curious to see if there any other places and who a good manufacturer of the hood is. I thought about going to GM to see if they still produce them, but they would probibly be around $800 though.
