auto shifter knobs/balls?
auto shifter *****/*****? does anyone know of a company that makes a replacement shifter ****, i want one like the stock manuals have,but for a auto with the button on top or on the side, one with the light up flames would be sweet too. i was thinkin i could make one but i don t have the money or time to experiment with any. thanks guys

That's a link to a company that makes it so you can use any manual shift **** on an A4.
However, this thing sticks up so high i think 2 inches higher.

I have no experience with them, but others on here do. Some of their shift ***** can be had with a button for use on an auto. Check out their website and give them a call.

Re: auto shifter *****/*****? yea i was readin on the flameball site and i have the side button on my shift ****, the stock auto tranny shifter. and i was wonderin if the side push button can be changed into a top button? oh and thanks for all the help and input

I cut 3/4" off the metal shift linkage and 3/4" off the plastic piece going through the middle of the shaft so it lined up correctly. It sits about 1/4" shorter than the stock shifter did and feels real nice in your hand.
This is the Ichibahn Cruz shifter. You can get it from a number of places online, including Crutchfield.
