lets discuss racing seats
i wanna get racing seats. nice seats make me happy. but i was discouraged this weekend when i rode in my buddies v6. he broke the seatbelt guide in his car and i felt what it feels like to have to wear the seatbelt coming from the roof. its crazy uncomfortable. i was wondering if any of you guys have thought of ways around this. i have my heart set on a set of corbeaus. has anyone tried putting the belt through one of the harness slots?

I have the Corbeau VX2000 - don't get these - the cushions and seat back are way to hard with no lateral support at all. The pictures are very deceiving showing what appears to be a seat with lateral support much deeper than what it really is.

The VX2000's do, however, have a plastic back and it looks as if I can remove the seat belt holder from the stock seats and mount it with screws into the plastic on the upper back of the seat in almost the same area as the stock seats.
Arizenracingsports will install the upper slotted seat belt holder as an option. I suspect they mount a facing on backside/inside of the fabric and then just attach the slotted holder to the bracket inside the seat.

If I had to do it over again I would get a fabric Corbeau or the Arizen seats.

sounds like the arizens are an anonymous favorite. they are more expensive than the corbeaus and i like the suede option of the corbeaus actually. i might just go with the corbeaus.
frisky- does the seatbelt still ride your neck or does it come down by the shoulder like an oem seat?
