Default Chrome pitting help!

My 70 Camaro has been sitting for abotu a year in my parents garage. There was a little surface rust that had started on the rear chrome bumper. I managed to get all the surface rust off, now you can see fine scratches on the chrome plating of the bumper. Basically looks like a haze on the rear bumper. How can I get those fine scratches out and restore the bumper so it doesnt look like crap without buying a new one?

Thanks,Mike

fine scratches is different than pitting. As far as I know, pitting is irreversible, however the scratches can be buffed out. Get yourself a nice buffer / polisher and some good chrome polish, and go to town.
