Scott Settlemire was Chevrolet's last Camaro Product Manager of the fourth-generation (1993-2002) years. Since Camaro production was temporarily suspended on August 27th 2002, Mr. Settlemire remained a GM employee working in other parts of the Chevrolet organization, most recently in "Shows and Exhibits".
Nice pictures, and to the guy who said he wanted to buy the new car and put retro emblems on it, your gay. Leave the past in the past man, this thing is gonna be so NEW and MODERN why would you want to put old emblems on it?

without him there would not be a new camaro. the camaro was actually suposed to stop production in 97 or 98 but with him around he was able to keep it around till 02. i was fotunate to meet him fri before bumblebee got to california

i went to this show, it was awesome, but anyways i met scott, he is a real cool guy, knows his ****, and also has a few mustang jokes up his sleeve lol, had a real fun time talking to him, and also had him sign my ss, which was awesome as well. got to talk to him about a few things that i thought were dumb on the 4th gen camaros, like the rear ends and my complaints on the brakes, which scott had a real good answer to both, all in all i got a little sun burnt but had a blast, got to shoot the **** with all you camaro guys and firebird guys out there!!
and yes as was explained a few posts ago, the car was a prop, had hub caps as well as fake gauges all except the speedo, which actually came from a gto too lol. and the inner door panels were just mocked up no up and down feature i dont think, just a prop but damn does it look good huh? scott actually had to put it in the shade cause the body panels and other parts would start to warp due to the heat!
