Ram AIr H.O. hood I will be purchasing an aftermarket hood soon and kinda want the slp HO hood and want to know if it works well with the stock airbox, any hp gains? and hows the fit and look on the car Do you have any pics because all they show on the website is a front pic,What other hoods do you guys recommend.Thanks

Re: Ram AIr H.O. hood Hard to say what if any HP gain. Thats not something that you can see on a dyno graph. The fit & finish is pretty damn good. I love mine and didn't think twice about getting a different hood. Its the most aggresive looking of the t/a hoods, IMO. Check out the sig for some pics. Re: Ram AIr H.O. hood I agree that it's hard to say about the hp gains, but fit and finish was great and works fine with the stock airbox... do the free ram-air mod for more flow too. pics in my sig.

Re: Ram AIr H.O. hood A guy I work with has a 98 TransAm with the Suncoast Creations WS6 hood and airbox kit installed. It looks great. The hood looks identical to mine (01 WS6 TransAm), except for the scoops are noticably taller (maybe 1-2"). The hood and airbox combo provide a very direct airflow. I would consider this setup. Go to their website and check it out.

Re: Ram AIr H.O. hood I've got that hood as well and I love everything about it. It's true that it's the most aggressive ram-air hood you can get aside from the 4" VFN WS6 hood. But yeah, the fitament is great on mine, and as far as gains, I did the hood, lid, filter, smooth air bellow and free ram-air mods at the same time. BIG gain on top end, very nice.
