Does anyone make a billet grill in chrome?

Does anyone make a billet grill in chrome? If so, where can I get one? Do you recommend getting one of those? Im sure it would have the tendency to peel and chip because of the road debris? I just didnt want to get a high polished billet one because I dont want to be out there every month or so polishing it? Thanks

Re: Does anyone make a billet grill in chrome? I think GM makes em, cause I was ordering parts at the GM dealer today for my car and I looked up on the wall and they had a chrome billet camaro grill on display so you might want to check with your GM dealer.

Re: Does anyone make a billet grill in chrome? I didnt know that GM made stuff like that. Are you sure that it was made by GM or that the dealership you went to had one on display? What dealership did you see it at? Are you sure it said chrome or chrome-like? Did you happen to see a price? Thanks

Re: Does anyone make a billet grill in chrome? I highly doubt GM would make something like that, otherwise you would see alot of them out there. Its not like it used to be with hidden option codes etc. I think i've seen some people around here with billet grills that are chromed. If it is real triple plate chrome it should stand up to road debris, but if its sprayed on like vaccum metalizing than i would count on chipping, fading, and yellowing.

I went back to the dealer today to pick up my parts, and its like a polished grill not chrome but it is a camaro grill, it was at a gmc pontiac dealer, back in the parts dept. they have a bunch of stuff on display that gm makes,my friend is the parts man there and told me that they make stuff like that and theres a book you can look at for aftermarket stuff.Not sure if they make a chrome one or not.

Also, I like how only the front of the Billet Grills is polished. I think it looks worlds better than if the insides were polished also.
