Thinking about buying a PC. Help! Well I'm considering buying a Porter Cable. Probably the one from Tropi-care. I have a few questions though. I have a 2002 Silver TA. Will a PC make that much different on a silver car? It has a few lights scratches and a few water spots that I know it will get out but will it improve its over all look like it would on a darker car? Also, what all products would I need from Tropi-care to do a complete job it? I just have never seen pics from a light colored car having a PC used on it. Didn't know if it was worth it or not. Thanks for the help guys hoping to order one soon if its really worth it.
Yes, it's worth it. You may never get silver/pewter to have that depth that black and blue have but you can make it have a that crystal clear finish which we all want.
As far as the products - there's a vast array of **** on the market. I'd recommend a good clay bar, polish and wax initially. That way, if you've still got water spots or some light swirls you know you need to step up a compounds aggressiveness.
Start slow and small, and you'll soon see its worth it.
