94 firebird h4 headlight conversion questions
94 firebird h4 headlight conversion questions I just bought a parts car and pulled these headlights out of it. they use a h4 bulb rated at 100/90W. I am trying to figure out how to wire them making them work properly via high beam and low beam. here is two pictures of the housing and bulbs.
I would simply buy an H4 adapter harness. That's what I did and it took me maybe 30 min to finish because I had to extend the wires a bit. Should save you a lot of hassle and I would be careful going with that high of a wattage for an extended period of time without a relay or upgraded wiring. That wattage is way above the stock wattage so you run the risk of burning your wires. PM me for the vendor of the adapter harness.
