center console removal ok i have a 02 automatic camaro and i took out the two bolts in the very front and the two inside the glove box, and the thing to take the shifter **** off, what else holds it down? it seems like something is holding it down in the middle, the front and rear lift up but not the center
it comes apart in two parts. The part where the shifter comes through pops off first then you will find the other bolts under it that take the base out.....start your fingers at the rear right before the arm rest and pull up slightly. It should pop off...
