i was gonna suggest the same exact thing. i've only seen one other guy on here do that, and it looked way better than anything else i've see for there.

The cover you made for the hood latch area is really cool, I bet that would sell like hotcakes through 6LE.

i'll try to find the thread that i saw where a guy did that and it looked pretty damn good. he did it right and it came out nice and smooth, and it looks great with no scoop grill.

nooooo...you shave the hole to make it wider and flush with the lines of the hood. basically your making the hole bigger and deleting the grill.

yeah, no, the shaving part is getting rid of the material inside of the the scoop area that the grill would normally rest against and mount to. So that opening would be a little larger, but it would have a nice clean look. I'll try to find it too. they guy who did it posted two cars that he had done it to, a red camaro, and a black one, one was his the other his dads, they both looked great.
