Default RS Spoiler DELETE :)

Hey guys, I made a post a while ago about removing my RS spoiler, because lets face it, it looks like **** compared to stock, let alone the SS spoiler!

Noone could help me I am afraid, so tonight, I ventured on to do this myself!

Lets start off with the basics. There are 11 'nuts' you have to take off. Three on each side and 5 on the spoiler.. two on the sides and three behind the light.

To get to the spoiler ones, you need to take off the spoiler, pop the hatch, and peel off the plastic, there are 4 nuts, take them off, unplug the 3rd brake light, and ur golden.

I started this at 9 pm in the dark with no lights (beside the dome light) and stopped at around 10 pm when the power went out, and I was done. It was perfect... looks great, minus the holes... I plan to patch those up, I will take pics tommarow morning of what it looks like with all the holes, then make this into a guide on how to get rid of an RS spoiler. I have an airbrush gun and 1500 grit sandpaper, so thats how I am gonna take care of the painting, for those who were wondering...

Woah? Not fg? What is it made out of? Everyone told me it was fiberglass... No matter, I am using a THIN amount of bondo on there.

Anyhow, if anyone wants the stock RS spoiler, I did some damage to it, but it is definatly usable, the only damage is done to the mounting part.

Was hell bound on doing this to my car a couple weeks ago,...gonna take the whole kit off the car,...and main concern was the spoiler b/c i hate it so much. Noticed it was gonna leave holes and decided the hell with all that,...il'l take all the GFX and spoiler off when i have the entire car painted sometime.

Is the RS spoiler the same as the RKsport 2" high one? I like it, personally. I may put it on my car, which will be re-painted NBM, but no other GFX will be added.

How much for the spoiler and where are you? I don't understand why people hate it so much. I like it. It reminds me of the 3rd gen spoilers.

Flat spoilers suck!!! I've never liked the 4th gen spoilers on the base/Z28's.
