Side molding delete on birds
The Best V8 Stories One Small Block at Time
my car is red though... i only have a couple cell phone pics of it... but i like it besides the fact that the pieces that are on the car now are cracked from being bent for some odd reason... ill take more pics tomorrow if i dont get rain here, but i think we are gonna
not a good pic of it because you can barely see the trim itself, but ill get ya some more up as soon as i get a dry chance
I just got finished with detailing my car (two stages compounding and polymer sealant)...car looks awesome. After reading this thread last night, I decided it would be little additional effort to go ahead and remove the side molding (I had side molding delete on my '96 T/A, with no difficulties)...so, I pull the passenger side molding off first, only to discover that the door had been repainted below the trim!!!! Agh...I figure maybe I can buff the area, and it won't be as noticeable, but after buffing, there was a noticeable color difference where the paint had been masked, so I wound up spending about an hour removing the old adhesive from my side molding and re-adhering it the door. Glad I only removed one side!!! So, it seems that instead of removing my faded side molding, I'll purchase new, and have it painted a graphite gray to contrast with my pewter paint. Just thought I would share....
Thanks guy's
