Default Started leather wrapping

Figured I'd start with something small before moving onto the rest of the interior, so here's my first completed piece

Thanks to Vikingramair, and toofazt for the inspiration

Viking ram air had pics on how he did his, not a write up per se, but I took his idea and ran with it myself

toofazt (specialized stainless) is going to be offering a kit sometime in the future, but I got impatient so I decided to try it myself

I used both the 3M Super Trim Adhesive and Weldwood Contact Cement
The brush on contact cement worked better for the bezel than the 3M spray (easier to control)

Wasn't that hard really the toughest part is making the correct cuts for the curves to straighten out the wrinkles, and to get the inside openings right

The bezel took me several hours, but I'm quite picky

Thanks for the compliments everyone

anyone want a step by step on how to do this, I can try and make one up this weekend (it'd be for the larger panels, but the steps should be the same)
