hey windshield scrapes ok i was driving home and it just started to pour. I havent changed the wipers on my car in about a year n a half. Now the rubber part on my right wiper feel off. I was still driving when it happend on the highway so i couldnt stop. When i finally got to where i was going i noticed little scratches on my windshield. I tried washing them off, but they wont go away. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas to get rid of them. They arent that deep is their some type of polish or something i could buy any ideas?
My windshield is covered in really small scratches (almost like the previous owner got sand on the windshield and used the wipers and washers to remove it). I was told by autoglass places that with small little scratches like that you have to replace the whole darn thing 
How bad are your scratches? Mine are the whole windshield and cause horrible glare at night. Night and raining is the worst, can't see a thing almost.

I have that too on my beater car not from me. They are really light where I can't catch my finger nail with it. Its kinda like they are etched. I think someone told me steel wool works, but I haven't tried it.
