interior color change
I just picked up a 99 z28 with a tan interior that I want to put some spare TA seats into, I was wondering if I can use that carpet dye to change the color of the carpet and also if I can paint the interior panels black and what products do I use to acomplish this. Is there anyway to change the color of the leather seats?

I would not trying to recommend trying to dye seats or anything.. probably easier to get them either re wrapped our just get all new interior together. Carpet however can be had for about $100 in many different colors.

Agreed on the seats...don't try to color them. It will wear off. However for the interior panels use SEM paint and Bulldog adhesion promoter. As far as the carpet goes, you can color it with SEM as well but it will just look like old carpet with good color. I would get new carpet. I am in the middle of doing this to mine.

specialized stainless steel has a new leather wrap kit so you wouldnt need to paint the interior panels. Forget the crazy idea of dying the stock seats, buy new Trans Am or racing seats like Arizen. Put new carpet for ease and to also compliment all the other new stuff in your car at this point.
