nightshade cracking?

Default nightshade cracking?

ok idk if this is a repost but i read the sticky cleaned my 3rd brake light scuffed it with the 3m pad, sprayed it 6inches away in my basement its warm down there but now that its 30mins later it has cracks in it, is this normal untill i add more coats?

dont know why but every 3rd brake light ive seen tinted does that and i dont know why, ive even seen it crack with regular paint and clearcoat

shouldnt ive only seen it happen to 3rd brake lights

I nightshaded my taillights on my 93 Z28 and had no problem. I have done tons of other taillights, (Cobra,F-150,Probe,ect)

I did my 3rd brake light on the Camaro and had no problems at all.

Maybe you didn't clean them enough or they didn't have enough time to warm up.

its been in my room which is like 80* and basement next to the heater,
idk im just gonna do 2 more coats then wetsand it maybe itll look a little better,,, what clear coat do i use acrylic or lacquer...
ill post up a pc of it tomarro

I need to know also... it looks hella gay during the day but at night when you hit the break it looks badass but still i want to fix mine too... Anyone else have this happen?

Dont use lacquer! The stuff sucks period. I used PPG's 620 Clear. Its not the top of the line but its cheap and easy to spray.
