Hey if you want to see what it looks like when it's done right, check out this chick's page. She's a member on here and I think hers is smokin. It's a Formy with T/A front clip & hatch and parts of west wing kit.

HAHA thanks man. That was actually my first Fbod. I sold it to a guy here in town and will have to admit I do miss it everytime I see it. You should have seen it when I got it, some farmer had it in his shed for a long timeand it was filthy inside and out. Stock Formy with white wheels, damn it was ugly. I loved tearing out the whole interior and cleaning it up, one of my favorite hobbies.

It made quite a turn around in the 3 years I had it!!!

Dang man I wish I would have known you were trying to make urs look like that, I would have sold you the Hood and the Hatch for CHEAP!

Ah having second thoughts now. I like the "sleeperness" of the formula look but with my large 3 inch magnaflow tips and soon to have larger 17 inch wheels, how can it be a "sleeper?" The import guys will know in time....

now that sucks...haha...wish you would've known earlier too. A long trip would have SOOO been worth a hood and spoiler. lol

See I don't get the whole sleeper look...they're F-bodies...what part of american muscle is sleeper? lol

Thats so true. My only other concern is that the hatch I may be trading for may not have the same percent tint as I currently have, so removing the old plus matching the percent to mine might equal loss of the defrost lines or yet high expense to get it re-tinted? Something else to think of right?

I was actually thinking about keeping mine a sleeper and leaving the stock exhaust on it but putting a cutout on, but I just loved the way the hatch and hood looked.

I don't think I could pull off the sleeper look in the Black one that well, at least not with LT's, ORY, GMMG and a LE2 cam!

I think a lowered Formula with a TA hatch looks better than a TA. Especially the LT1 style.

I say no only because I like the Formulas for their clean understated design. Now the WS6 or Firehawk hood on a Formula I think looks great. But I will say the T/A wing on the Formulas don't look bad from the above pics. I just like how the Formulas are clean and simple much like the Camaro.

i say yes, imo the high rise spoiler on a formula looks pretty sick, add a raptor hood too....

I vote "no." I much prefer the understated Formula - that's why I own one. The T/A spoiler is too "boy racer" except maybe on a lowered WS6 T/A, where the whole look comes together.

I loved the way the T/A hatch looked on my formula, but changed it due the the fact is is frickin' heavy as hell. I want to drag race the car next season, so I changed it back to the V-6 hatch for the weight savings. Oh well, here is what the car looked like with it.

And with the old V-6 hatch back on it:

Another reason why I am staying with the Formula hatch on my recent Bird. That TA hatch was a lot heavier.

I think the ta hatch looks good on a formula. Check out dopefedz's car, its a formula with the side skirts, and hatch from a ta, and a WS6 hood.

Consider this thread closed. My only option to trade hatches has passed now.

Although they do look good, the above black Formula with the Formula wing looks killer. I just need to be lowered plus some 315's. And I was able to see DopefedZ's car up close this weekend and that car is killer, even without the wing it would look amazing!

Thanks for the replys and pictures! I will stick with the v6 firebird look!

I think the t/a hatch looks good on formulas only if paired with a ram air hood.

i know the poll is closed but if the opportunity comes up i dont like the ta hatch on the formula . The only way to do the wing is to have the ta bumper and side skirts too .
