I also think its ugly, here's why; the gaping hole in the front of the bumper is just too much, and even with an intercooler, or just the stock radiator, it does not look good. As for the spoiler, I think it is ugly as well. I think that kind of spoiler looks better on a Camaro (looks a lot like the spoiler I have on my Z28 in fact), but the Firebirds look better with a longer spoiler that is at a slight angle off the horizon of the car pretty much like the stock Trans Am spoiler.
I like new ideas like this, and I think its great thinking outside the box. I hope more people like the person who started this think of new ideas as well. I just don't think this one is a winner.

Even with all the folks into the "stock" look, it appears that half the folks would buy it and half wouldn't. That's a lot more than I thought it would be.
What gaping hole? It's inset and has a grill. You can't even see through it. Also, you don't have to two tone it. You can paint it a solid color. If we had an differently painted example I think people would see the real potential.

Exactly!
Would I buy it for my CETA? Heck no.
Would I buy it if I had a white hardtop Formula that I wanted to do the white/blue '70 treatment to? HELL YES!
This kit, if made would actually make me think about searching for a white hardtop formula just so I could do this to it.
I say go for it.
Its good to have choices out there for us owners...not everyone will like it, but sometimes things aren't for everyone.

The black car below has the E-1 bumper.

I posting these 2 pics so people would recognize the owner as already making and selling a front bumper. He also made this front bumper:

It's thread is here:

Remember, we're not asking about these 2 black bumpers, only the white one below.
