i got the slp bowtie grille for my 01 SS for Christmas an i had some questions on ways to install it. in the directions it says you have to drill new holes which im not to crazy about but i also heard that you can just put it in with some sort of strong tape. has anyone tried just taping there grille? does it stay on well? does it hold up in rain? anyone gotten one stolen? what kind of tape did you use? any help is much appreciated!

 

3M 2 sided tape will do the trick. Just look at the back of the grille & where it contacts the bumper & put the tape there. Get both surfaces clean!

The grille won't wash off with water, the 3M stuff is what holds moldings & emblems on.
