Anyone covered their upper dash pad? Mine is starting to crack and the vinyl seems like it would keep it from cracking and look better.

You could do it, although I don't think you'd be able to get it looking factory unless you removed the whole dash to wrap it...

How much leather would be required to cover the entire interior including the dash? I know I'll have to take the dash apart but I really want to get rid of the cheap GM interior feeling.

I'd like to cover the entire dash, because there is a big ******* crack running from the windshield to the vents.

I wonder if this would cut down on the amount of light is reflected.

I would guess 5 yards to cover the dash and all the panels. Our kit comes with 4 Yards (144” x 54”) and you can buy additional yards if needed. 1 yard = 36" long x 54" wide. http://store.specializedstainless.co...r+Interior+Kit

Thanks Steve, I'd rather order to much and have left over leather over not having enough. I think the entire interior covered in black leather and then sending the dash trim to be covered in carbon fiber would look really good.

Is this for the seats as well? I'm looking to go from gray to black with my interior.

No, if you want your seats done you need to take it to an upholstery shop or have an industrial sewing machine, etc. This kit is made to cover the cheap looking plastic panels

#39 Charcoal on the chart above. The only color I currently have is #40 Ebony (black). You can order a sample of the black if you're wanting to change your interior color? http://store.specializedstainless.co...ry=Free+Sample

Shouldn't this kit say Imitation leather? That's what is listed in the INCLUDES Description.

Yep considering a change to black maybe a dual color theme. Not sure, thats why the grey as well. Used to have a lancia beta wagon that had a two tone interior that was kind of nice looking

Our description clearly states that and there's no way anyone could believe they were getting real leather for that price We're not trying to "trick" anyone into thinking it's real leather, just keeping the title short. Thanks for your concern.
