I think they look better on birds than on other cars. At least it makes sense for a "bird" to have wings. Whats wrong with purple? I would paint a car purple, I think its a great color that is underuntilized due to the unsubstantiated stigma associated with such a color. I guess you guys would not like a Plum Crazy Purple Hemi Cuda huh?

I dunno, I don't think it looks all that bad. Plus, with our long *** doors, it'll help getting out from the tight parking spot.

That was the reason for having the doors on lambos.
The cars were so wide that they needed a new type of door, i am not sure they were the first to make the doors theo...

plumb crazy purple cuda? cudas look good in any color. a cuda in solid rust would look good. lambo doors for the money arent worth it to me. the $1000 and upward price (for a good set) would go alot further under the hood performance or otherwise you could get polished everything.

^-----------------You need wheels. $1700 on Lambo doors means you can afford wheels, just please don't get a, oh I dunno, Jeep lift kit and Escalade 24in rims like the other guys creating essentially a Camaro mutant that is more non-Camaro than actual Camaro.

In my opinion, Lambo doors=Lambo. You will appear to be a jackass unless you can backup a Lambo style product with Lambo style speed. Even then, all the Lambo style speed will do is help you drive away from the embarassment of getting in and out of your car. Lambo style doors are made for one thing: To Get People's Attention. Look at the feedback on here, do you really want to spend $1500 or so on some doors to get people to see you getting in and out of your car and think 'What a jackass that is a Camaro who is he kidding'.

But, that is just my opinion, it is your car, do what makes you happy. But remember, just because eating human flesh makes some people happy doesn't make it right.

No, you misunderstand me.

I bought the whole car with the Vertical Door Kit already installed for $1700.

Those examples honestly look like they are going to fly away. Our doors are WAY to big for this to even look close to acceptable. To each his own though .

I think because they are a big door, they would be better than if they were small.

I think they are practical, especially in tight places, but I don't think they look good when raised. Then again, they aren't meant to be opened on display. IMO, they are for exiting /entering your vehicle in a tight space. You dont sit around with your car doors open, do you (well at least, I dont)?

BTW, anyone interested in installing one of these kits, I noticed on Google, that they arent $1300 any more. If you go to the title of this thread (+dot com) they are now $399/599

BTW, That lime green 4x4 Camaro is Effing hideous!!!

Exclamation

I like the idea of Lambo doors simply because of the parking issue noted earlier. I have to ding other people's cars and my door edges just to get out of my car sometimes. Plus then I have to drag my shoes/boots over the door plastic, door sills and the paint on the edge of the door sills since there's so little space. As far as how difficult they are to open, I've seen kits with 2 shocks for EACH door so I'd imagine it can't be too bad. A+++ for that black WS6 with the lambo doors. I plan to make that my very next appearance mod for my Sterling Silver WS6. If anyone doesn't like it, that's fine 'cause I'm not selling my car and YOU DON'T have to buy it. Thanks. Swat

P.S. FU#* , it's MY car.
