I bought two sets. The first is on the car the 2nd set is still in the box - it looks just a good as the first kit. The first kit works as advertised. I think I paid about $130 total for it.

If you want better lighting, go with the lower temperature (K) rating. Anything below 4000k starts to get into the yellow spectrum which is generally used for fog lamps. Yellow lights are best for seeing but aesthetically are not considered appealing. I initially bought 8000k that have the blue/purple hue. They look kewl but do not illuminate the road surface well. If you ever drive in snow the blue will make seeing difficult.

I bought my last kit for $45 + $33 shipping. It came directly from Singapore and took 6 days to arrive. I bought the kit simply for the 4300k (diamond white) bulbs. Replacement bulbs generally cost as much or more than these entire low priced kits.

paid about $134 shipped for the cheapest kit at the time(1.5years ago) on ebay and it will flicker a couple of times in 10 minutes. no big deal.

my buddy bought a cheap kit about a year ago for $144 shipped and has no flicker.

i just got the cheapest kit on ebay again for $69 shipped. both sides flicker, one bulb is not up to the color temp that it is supposed to be and is not as bright as the other. did some swapping with my old kit and flickering is caused by both ballast being bad and one bad bulb. i'm hoping the seller will resolve this soon.
so 3rd time is not the charm for cheapest.
