Arrow **Specialized Stainless Camaro Build**

I will be posting in this thread all the modifications I make to my Camaro I picked up last Saturday. My plans are to build another car this season to showcase my products.

I'm starting with a stock 2001 SS Camaro... This is the first Camaro I've had that's been able to pass smog with flying colors

Here's some pictures from the day I picked it up:

Today I reconditioned the stock head lights and ground the three plastic casting tabs flat. I wet sand them from grits 220 > 400 > 600 > 800 > 1000 > 1500 > 2000. Then I used Novus #3 Heavy Scratch Remover followed by Novus #2 Fine Scratch Remover. It took a couple hours and I hope to never do it again, lol.

I have never seen someone actually get rid of the tabs as well, looks way better, did you just file them down before sanding them?

I sand them down with a belt sander, then got them smooth and even w/ 220 grit by hand.

oh gotcha, so what kind of stripes are you looking into getting? paint or vinyl? Anything custom, or just solid 35th LE stripes (like mine)?

I'm thinking Berger style in black... But I'll probably do something custom with them
