But with the nightshade - depending on how dark you spray them - you DO have to worry about possibly getting a ticket since it is illegal to tint your tailights.
With the removeable covers, if you get pulled over, you can say you use them for shows and forgot to remove them - then just take them off in front of the officer, and more than likely he will not give you a ticket.
With the paint - you're screwed as far as taking them off in his presence to make him happy and it's gonna be a bitch to get off as the paint is fairly permanent

Yes this is true, I did get pulled over for mine he told me to take them off before it turns dark out. I figure its also illegal to burnout, speed, window tint, but you live life once. If the cop really wants to be a dick he could give you a ticket. I guess I am just not too worried about it but that is just my opinion.
