removable back hatch i'm going to start work on making it so i can remove the back hatch when i take the t tops out. i was thinking it would be awesome to have the back open all the way through. i have an extra hatch on a 97z that i totaled out that i may take the glass out of to just swap them out so the car will look the same from the rear. all i should have to do is get some hinge pins that have some carter keys that hold them in place and figure a quick way to attach and detach the shocks. i think it would be awesome. what do you guys think?
Sounds kinda ridiculous to me.
It'll look goofy as hell from the back.
Like those guys who cruise around with their hood off to 'show-off' their engine.

no i meant take the glass out of the hatch on the 97 and make them quickly interchangeable. i dont know how much it weighs tho if i couldnt swap them by myself and in less than 10 mins it wouldnt be worth it.
I'd assume you had a busted hatch and were too poor to replace the glass.....
Rk sport makes a sport hatch with a piece of vertical glass that's removable... still goofy looking, but would look 100% better.
