Am I the only person that does this?
My car stays in the garage most of the time now, so I just use a Cali duster and quick detailer.
I don't worry about getting it on the wheels or even the paint because the tire spray is the first thing that I do.
I spray the tires with the blue stuff that you get at the body shop supply stores(smells like cotton candy). Next I go over the paint with the detailer and then I wipe off the wheels.
This is what I do because the car doesn't get dirty driving it on the weekends.

I've tried the gel and the spray but never can seem to stop it from slinging down the side of the car 
.
Its probably because of the tires I had on though since they have all those little lines in the rubber that would store excess amounts of the stuff and then release it all. Hopefully the new tires this summer will be different.

Yea the gel always slings onto the car. It pisses me off. My tires really trap the gel.
And yea my circle is wrapped in duck tape, kinda ghetto but it works really nice.
