Hey do you have a pic of the relocated ground? I did this mod but left the ground cuz I couldn't find any place that would ground as well as that.

i didnt get a pic, but i grounded to the foglight bracket. i chose that spot because that bracket is metal and it is bolted to the frame of the car. once i tool the bolt out, i sanded the paint off the area under the bolt, then bolted of the grounds. the ultimate test of whether its a good ground is the voltage at idle, and it looks good.

thanks for the compliments guys,

why not? if you use a grommet itll stay clean, and it wont decrease the value of the car. this should have ben done from the factory.

it can be an issue from what ive heard if you dont wrap the plugs well. i wrapped mine with electrical duct tape. honestly, those plugs are supposed to be water proof to begin with, and they are still somewhat protected being above the fender liner. i say dont go driving in lakes and youll be fine (again after you wrap the plugs like i did).

Default update

Ok so Im bringing this back up rather than starting a new thread since this is very much related. I finally hid the hood pop cable, and I relocated the two visible grounds on that side as well. Relocating the two grounds was easy, there was already a hidden ground that is used for the alternator, I just have these sharing that bolt.

I have one ground left on the other side to get, but im not too concerned about that. Ill also get rid of those stickers at some point, Ive gotta leave projects for other boring days tho.

oh and I got a decent picture of my badge thats on my STB finally. I know, its lame, but whatever.
