Default Mothers clay bar kit

Has anyone used the Mothers clay bar kit? What were the results?

I have. I thought it was fine. First time I used one though. Just keep it wet and don't drop it--works great.

Thanks. I wanted to use that to get the garbage off then use the 3 step stuff.

used it works wonders, even took caked on brake dust off my black wheels i thought would never come off.

I've Used the claybar kit here followed by the three step on my car and couldnt be happier. I always do it the hard way and apply the wax by hand. I've never have used any other wax actually. Post up pics when your done.

mothers dumdumdum thats all i use plus it's easy to find....as it's available at almost every autoparts store

any else notice the quick detailer spray stuff smells like big red/ cinnomon

I use it all the time when I get to shows to clean it up really quick. Stuff smells pretty damn good!

I also use the mothers clay bar. A good way to use the bar is to use clean car soap as the lube and not the showtime. Save the showtime for when your done waxing.

yea that what i do, clay bar works wonders it amazed me the first time i did it.

the wax is eh, i use a thick paste wax to ensure a good coat. I like turtle wax, ive had good results with it.

ive always been a Meguiars man. just personal prefferance. mothers clay is alright. their 3 step is basically the same as Megs 3 step. id consider it a beginner step in the detailing process. i used to use it, but moved onto Megs professional line, in the beige bottles. ive found their #26 hi-tech yellow wax is much easier and better then a cleaner wax. goes on/off easier, and doesnt dry white.
