Retractable License plates

To also answer some PM's...
The electric one (in the video) flips down (like the first pictures in the thread) and is just for those "oh $hit a cop just pulled me over moments". It would not be meant for driving around with it down...
It can be seen but not as bad as having a plate there all the time. It is more noticeable than normal in the video because the front of the car was above us....
The manual ones I have are the ones that completely retract to be invisible (well, as invisisble as it gets with our cars, not much room under there) and then slides out and fold UP so that it can be used everyday on a daily driver in the up position.
I was just making a "oh ****" version for my on car like that electric one on ebay but didn't want to pay $175 and didn't' care about going back up electrically.
Then I saw the manual Altec one on a friend's car and liked it but didn't like how it stuck out in front of the bumper so I made my own manual and am selling off the two electrics.
The main difference in "invisibility" I was talking about was in the fact the other systems (Altec for example) actually PROTRUDE forward from the bumper.
In other words, looking straight down from overhead they stick out from the bumper... Mine does not do that.
All of them though, mine included, can be seen underneath the car from about 10 ft. away... Just the nature of the beast.
