Random oribital buffer from 0'reily's

Random oribital buffer from 0'reily's Instead of buying a porter cable for 130.00, can I just use a 20.00 6inch buffer from O'Reily's. Will I have the same results. Also can those burn the paint or is it like a porter cable?

ive used them and the problem is they wont cut enough, from what ive experinced the pc is a good middle goud between the random orbitals and a true high speed buffer.
i bought a random orbital polisher have tried multiple pads and compounds and it just takes alot longer.
mine has sat on the shelf for a very long time and dont plan on picking it up again.

Reading into your statement..its not a afactor of rotation but a factor of material removal or transfer
