Porter Cable = MAGIC!! Opinions please!
Porter Cable = MAGIC!! Opinions please! Spring is coming up, and I figured since I repainted the TA, might as well spend some money to keep the paint looking good. I bought the porter cable 7424 and a set of Wolfgang Concours products, including the auto bathe, total swirl remover, finishing glaze, deep gloss paint sealant, and quick detail spray. I also ordered a handful of cobra micro fiber towels, bonnets, and leveling pads.
Since I've never used a porter cable before, I decided to test it out on my old hood. It had been sitting out back for a little over a month now, and I WISH I had taken some 'before' pics, but here is the final product. Keep in mind, the paint on this hood is in HORRIBLE condition, cratches from keys, cats, birds, swirls galore, and about 300000000 paint chips. you can see the chips in the pics a little, but try to concentrate on the reflection of the paint. The color of the hood is navy blue metallic.
Honestly, these pics do NOT do justice, you really have to see it. Anyways, if anyone is interested, I'll provide a quick write up of the steps I used, I'll be doing the whole car in a few weeks, since the paint is still pretty fresh. Let me know what you guys think!

I bought the PC in a kit, so I'm not sure how much it costs by itself..don't know anything about tropicare products, but if they are decent then 170 for a bundle is a good deal IMO
