Why the Hell does the Dash Crack??

If you use a windshield sunshade, the dash won't crack. It also doesn't hurt to keep your car in a garage or under covered parking.

my dash cracked when i was pulling on it liek an idiot to run a sirus antenna wire. mine is cracked on the pad and the dash.

i have 35% tint on my windshield, and 5% on the back and sides.. and my dash still cracked..i even keep my sunshades under the t-tops to keep as much of the sun out of the car..i think its just hit or miss

i came out to my car this morning and it cracked i was pissed as hell but from what i see it whouldnt be to hard to replace

My 98 isn't cracked and it is parked outdoors in parking lots all the time *knock on wood*

Let's hope it doesn't crack when I take the dash apart to fix the rattle from deep inside there.
